Fine Dining at Tucson’s Best Golf Courses

Fine Dining at Tucson's Best Golf Courses

There is more to Tucson’s premiere golf courses than great weather and even greater greens.  One aspect of golf clubs that you might not have thought of is the dining.  The areas surrounding these courses often have great food, but what is even better?  Not having to leave the course to enjoy high quality dining!

The JW Marriott® Starr Pass Resort & Spa has a great variety of dining options including fine dining with a Mediterranean flair, enhanced with organic ingredients grown right on the grounds of the resort to Continental Cuisine with a southwestern blend of  Native American, cowboy and Mexican influences.  Then there is the Catalina Barbeque Co. & Sports Bar for succulent meats with award winning rubs and sauces.  Poolside dining and even a Starbucks is also available right on site.

Another example of great dining is the Ritz-Carlton at Dove Mountain, located in Marana.   This course has a wide variety of food options that are sure to please everyone.  A few of the many options are:  Sushi Bar & Sake, Core Kitchen & Wine Bar, and Turquesa Latin Food.  There is also a burger restaurant at the Ritz-Carlton, which is Cayton’s.  Cayton’s serves “American comfort cuisine with a Southwestern Flair”, and is open to the public, members of the golf club, and guests of the hotel.  You can try out the great food even if you do not yet own property there. This restaurant has a casually elegant vibe, and the attire is resort or golf casual.

The Omni Tucson National is another longtime favorite, located at 2727 West Club Drive in the heart of northwest Tucson.  Tucson National has a steakhouse that not only features prime steak, but a wide selection of martinis as well.  Enjoy the award wining cuisine at Bob’s Steak & Chop House in the elegant dining room or on the patio with amazing views of the Catalina Mountains at sunset.  The more casual options at Tucson National is Sweetwater Terrace’s Cabana Bar, which overlooks both the pool and the Catalinas or at Legends Bar and Grill overlooking the 18th green of the Catalina Course.

Skyline Country Club is one of  the original Tucson golf clubs that prides itself in its dining options for its members and their guests.  Their Executive Chef Issa Moussa has been in charge of the club’s cuisine for 33 years.  Skyline’s fine dining events feature “some of the some of the most creative and elaborate cuisine seen in Tucson”.  They have casual dining as well:  The Bistro, Galleria, and 19th Hole.  Beyond this, Skyline Country Club also has a breakfast buffet on Sundays with a fabulous array of exquisite cuisine and of course, made to order omelets and pancakes.

These excellent dining options only cover some of the great food offered at Tucson golf courses.  It goes to show, when you purchase golf property you are getting more than a beautiful home and a beautiful golf course.  You also get great food, great views, and an overall great experience.  Look at all the community information on TucsonGolfEstates.com for the best dining at Tucson’s great golf courses.  Contact Bill Anderson if you are interested in making these wonderful experiences part of your reality.
